Using this tool you can fill out a virtual scorecard. You can save these plans and print out scorecards with your target routes highlighted or use the plan in the app.
This tool is intended only for planning purposes but can be used in the competition to help you remember which routes you are planning on climbing.
First, make sure you are logged in to the website. You can login by clicking the Login button in the navigation menu. You will see that "Plan 1" is automatically created for you. You can edit this plan by changing the route filters and ticking off routes you want to climb. Your expected results will be automatically updated as you tick off routes.
The route list is designed to look and feel similar to the app and functions almost exactly the same. Note that the final results do not include bonus points earned by climbing for the full 24 hours or climbing on the east side of the canyon. Only routes included in your current filter will be counted. Average laps per hour is based on the 24 hour competition. Double this number for the average required during the 12 hour event.
You can create as many plans as you want and can adjust the name of each plan by clicking directly on the plan name or by clicking the Edit button on the plan. Plans are saved every 5 seconds by default but can be saved at any time by clicking the Save button on the plan. You can also clone plans and delete them. Deleted plans cannot be recovered so try not to delete them by accident.
Plans that you create can be used to generate a paper scorecard for the competition. The scorecard will have your selected routes highlighted to help you remember your plans. You are not required to climb your planned routes and can check off other routes that you end up climbing. Note that each climber using paper score cards must print out 2 copies per partner. Partner's cannot share a scorecard and you will be expected to turn in your first scorecard at the halfway point. You can print a scorecard by clicking the Print button on a plan.
Plans that you create can be used with the app. After creating a plan through the website you can open the app and go to the Event Goals page. The top of this page will list all of your saved plans. Selecting a plan will adjust your current filters and goals to match the plan. It will also add a highlight to routes in the app to help you remember which routes you are planning on climbing. You cannot create new plans through the app.
